The UCLA Therapeutic
Medical Physics group supports clinical programs within Radiation Oncology.
In particular, the physics group has been instrumental in developing
programs in Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Stereotactic
Radiosurgery, Prostate Seed Implantation, and episcleral eye-plaques. Faculty have
active teaching roles with graduate students in the UCLA Biomedical
Physics Graduate Program.
